Humphrey said he started thinking about making another run for the legislature when he saw the latest map. Rep. John Bell IV, R-Wayne, the House majority leader, also talked to him about a run.
“I enjoy serving people. I enjoy trying to troubleshoot, not point fingers but try find solutions to problems,” Humphrey said.

"As a small business owner who built my business by being a trusted voice serving the interests of my clients, I recognize that we need effective leadership in Raleigh that serves our needs in Eastern NC."

The group held their monthly meeting at the facility and were honored to have a few of the veterans join them. Other guests in attendance were Senator Louis Pate, Mr. Chris Humphrey, Mrs. Jennifer Dacey (representing Mr. Scott Dacey), and Mrs. Dawn Stroud, all of whom are Republican candidates in the upcoming election.
